2. Website access and hosting
Our websites are hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you visit, the web server processes connection data needed to deliver the website. This includes, in particular, your IP address, access time, requested page or file, amount of data transferred, status message, browser and operating system information and, where transmitted, the previously visited page (referrer).
This processing enables website delivery, stable operation, troubleshooting and the detection and prevention of attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is providing a secure and reliable website. The website cannot be delivered without the necessary technical data transmission. There is no contractual obligation to visit.
STRATO receives hosting data as our hosting provider. According to STRATO’s information, IP addresses used to detect and prevent attacks are retained for a maximum of seven days. This is separate from the access logs available in the customer account, in which STRATO anonymises IP addresses or hostnames. STRATO makes logs for the last six weeks available for download. Our website does not include its own service for analysing identifiable visitors.
3. Cookies, fonts and website features
The website software we have included does not set cookies or store visitor identifiers in your browser’s local storage. No advertising or tracking scripts or social media embeds are included. Fonts, images and other website files are loaded from our own hosting; in particular, fonts are not requested from Google Fonts. Language selection, price tabs and the menu do not require storage of a visitor identifier.
4. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us, we process the contact details and information you provide to handle your enquiry. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to contract-related enquiries. For other enquiries, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR applies; our legitimate interest is responding to your message. Providing information is voluntary, but we may be unable to handle your enquiry without the necessary details.
We delete this data once the enquiry is complete and there is no further reason for retention. Statutory retention requirements and retention needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims remain unaffected. Email and telecommunications providers may be involved in transmission. The website does not include a contact form.
5. External links
Directions are provided through a link to Google Maps rather than an embedded map. A connection to Google is only established when you open the link. The same applies to other external links. The privacy information of the respective website applies when you visit it; processing outside the European Union may occur.
6. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have rights of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18) and data portability (Article 20). Where processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
Right to object: Under Article 21 GDPR, you may object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. Please use the contact details above.
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority under Article 77 GDPR, particularly in the country of your habitual residence, place of work or the alleged infringement. In Hamburg, this is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Ludwig-Erhard-Straße 22, 20459 Hamburg.
7. Automated decisions
The features of this website do not involve automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
